Paeonia suffruticosa, the Tree Peony

In Christine’s garden is a tree peony, which we planted at least fifteen years ago.

After all these years, it’s not yet four feet tall.

The flowers are short-lived and spectacular.

It’s a lovely plant.

We should really have more of them.

I’ve written about the tree peony before.

Put “mudan” in the tompostpile’s search box if you’d like to see them.
