Now that we have definitions, here’s a photo of Quansoo swash from a few days ago.
The tide was low.
The slope of the shore was very gentle.
The swash’s foam ended its upward journey on nearly-flat, dry sand.
Some wonderful patterns resulted.
Ephemeral patterns.
Gone with the next high wave.
Or the next high tide.
