Pre-Henri Sunset. And Moonrise.

We went to the beach the night before the predicted arrival of Hurrican Henri.

As we started down the walkway over the marsh, a sunset briefly flared in the sky over the western moraine.

Just a minute or two later only the faintest tinge of color remained, more clouds moved in and light fled.

We turned out heads to the southeast, and there, a great pink/orange moon was peeking through the stratus.
