I Do Not Know The Story

In the early morning of early March, 2018, I was in Oppama, Japan.

I walked into the hills behind town.

I had no destination, no agenda.

I came to a sacred place in an old quarry.

Carvings and shrines were there.

In a deep sheltered recess in the rock, at the raised stone edge of an inner low wall, was this:

There’s a story here.
