Street Portraits, Perez Zeledon — Costa Rica 2020

The tompostpile presents a collection of street portraits of Ticos and Ticas, young and old

It’s sunny day in Perez Zeledon (San Isidro de El General) during a week just before schools start again after the annual vacation period.

The city streets are full of cars and the stores and sidewalks are full of people.

The date is January 27, 2020.

The time is mid-morning.

To help keep people from being too “camera shy”, I often “shoot from the hip”. My finger is on the shutter release, but my exterior attention is not on the subject. You can’t always be sure you’ve gotten a good shot, but sometimes you get lucky.
