Has magnificently large leaves.
In the Dos Rios morning as the sun rises past the mountain to the east, sunrays flood into the leaves of the bananas growing in the flat ground around the casita. The intense green of the leaves in the light caught my eye.
I went under the banana, to look up and around, to experience and to explore.
The leaves are large, simply formed.
From a powerfully built central rib, veins run to the margins..
There had been rain overnight.
Top surfaces of some of leaves were droplet-dotted.
Inside and among the leaves was a whole world.
A world of curved lines, of shapes, of sheltered spaces.
Spaces worth visiting.
