One response to “Dog and a box

  1. My Danny (mostly mini aussie) chewed only one thing, toilet paper rolls. As soon as he heard that loose, hollow sound of the cardboard rolling, he was ears up, right in front of me, at peak attention…which means keen like an addict getting his fix. I’d take it off the holder, throw the roll into the air, and he’d be all over the place, bouncing it off nose and walls until finally subduing it, getting it and himself in position for the orgasmic ripping to come. I would laugh, go about the bedmaking and other daily chores, at some point coming back to find a pile of tiny pieces…the more pieces the more joy seemingly…and the only thing he ever tore up in his life. Saint Danny lives long in our memories. We’ve had many fine, even extraordinary dogs in our lifetime, but he was “The One”. Rather how i imagine your Coquina will be for you:)
