We have come out of the woods, and now walk along the shore of the Great Pond.
It’s a good time to take a break for some play.
Along the banks of the pond, young cedars are taking hold, making an “allée”..
A hanging fencepost distracts a photographer….
Who then looks up to admire the flatness of Flat Point.
Who then, lured by the sound and sight of splashing wavelets, goes to the shore.
From where, looking south, you can see a point in the pond.
And beyond, the barrier beach.
But then it’s back on to the trail, to catch up with the others.
Okini and Coquina are……playing.
They run, in circles and loops through the new May grass.
What a life.
