Aleatory #1023

If you wake in the middle of the night it’s better to rite a tompostpile post than it is to play solitaire, right?

I woke in the middle of the night, after falling asleep in a loud thunderstorm. A request to  the random number generator on the intertubes for four digits worth of random yielded 1023. Don’t blame me if you use these number for the lottery and lose, OK?

The photos are as far back as early 2009 and as recent as last March.

Here we go…starting with a photo from Costa Rica.

In between my house and the pond downhill from us is an old field. In such places you find early-succession plants, such as this winged sumac.
