The day dawned gray but warm.
After a walk in the woods, it was time to drive to Woods Hole for another ferry trip across the water.
The southwest wind was blowing hard. Rain showers came and went.

The motion of the ship and the erratic wind intensity made it hard to hold the camera still, which made many of the exposures come out poorly.
But there were enough decent shots to have made worthwhile the walk in the weather.
