Falmouth Road Race runners had a perfectly beautiful day for a road race.
Many ran seriously.
Some ran in memory of others.
Many ran for fun.
And there were some folks who ran with style.
Who gave thought and effort to what they wore for the race.
Here is a little gallery in their honor.
After the first few thousand people had gone by, I heard a man say, “I think I’ve just seen a million dollars worth of sneakers…”
The Irish were out.
There were chili peppers.
And the Three Amigos.
There was a fringe element.
Socks are getting longer and more colorful, of late.
And what is a race without two tutus?
All hail, fleet fashionistas!
