Stand Clear of the Door, Please.

It’s a darned big door, on the ferry “Martha’s Vineyard”.

Through these doors pass thousands of cars, thousands of trucks, the vehicles that carry natives and tourists, the vehicles that bring stuff to the Vineyard.

And the vehicles that take away the stuff we throw away, to “Away”.


(“Away” is a word that Vineyarders have for the part of the world that is not Martha’s Vineyard.)
