The Q Factor.

The Wampanoag language has some wonderful “Q” place name words.

Quabbin, Quaddick, Quaboag, Quansoo, Quassapaug, Quenames, Quissett……..

We left the house an hour before sunset, to visit one of these “Q” places.

Here’s some of what we saw.

Down here there are horizontals. New England is not a place where you see a lot of horizontals.

A warm-but-cool September evening-into-night is one of the finest times to be here.

To be young, with friends, at a fire, at the beach.
